Hope
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.
Isaiah 9:2
Have you ever been scared of the dark? The Bible tells us that Jesus is like a bright light that shines when things feel dark or scary. A long time ago, people waited for Jesus to come and bring hope. Hope means knowing that something good is coming, even if we can’t see it yet.
At Christmas, we remember that Jesus brings us hope because He loves us so much and is always with us. As a family, we can share hope by encouraging one another when we feel sad or uncertain. Let’s be the light to others by showing kindness and reminding them of God’s promises.
What is something you are hoping for this Christmas?
Dear Jesus, thank You for bringing us hope and being our light when things feel dark. Help us to trust You always. Amen.
